From Stephen Wagner, your Guide to Paranormal
Reading about poltergeist cases as a kid is what really got me interested in this whole field. I mean here were true instances of unexplainable physical effects! Things moving, objects appearing out of nowhere, unexplained crashes and smells. And science did not have a good explanation for any of it! So what's going on? This quickly led me to the realization that this world may not be entirely what it seems to be. And that's why poltergeist activity still fascinates me. See this week's feature.

The Poltergeist Phenomenon
The poltergeist phenomenon is one of the most intriguing and baffling areas of paranormal research, in great part because there are physical manifestations: objects being moved (even thrown) about; electrical devices going on and off by themselves, loud bangs and raps; even water dripping from ceilings without cause. In his book, The Poltergeist Phenomenon, award-winning investigative reporter Michael Clarkson reviews 75 notable cases and talks to the victims and eyewitnesses to the perplexing, often unnerving disturbances. In this interview with Mr. Clarkson, he discusses the possible causes of poltergeist activity, how it might work, his view of arch-skeptic The Amazing Randi, and the future of poltergeist research. Read the interview.

Video: Marble Mountain Bigfoot
This video was shot by a hiker in July, 2000 at Marble Mountain near Ft. Jones, California. In the distance, a figure is seen walking along the ridge of the mountain, past some trees and finally out of sight. The videographer tries to zoom in as best he can, but the figure is too distant to get any details. The video is also enhanced and stabilized by the folks at Facebook Find Bigfoot, who also provide a good analysis. Watch the video... then tell us what you think.

The elf by the berry bush
"This took place in North Vietnam, right on the border between Vietnam and China," reports Van.
