 | The best thing about this year's photo hoax contest is that the people who sent in their photos also provided some great made-up background stories. And to those who think the contest is a bad idea because they say it promotes paranormal hoaxing, obviously I disagree. The pictures are not created with the intent to fool anyone, they are just for fun. But they do demonstrate how easy it can be to create fake paranormal pictures, reminding us that we need to be careful and critical when considering any photo that claims to be paranormal. | The Malevolent Ghost
Families can sometimes live for years peacefully with what they believe are ghosts in their homes. "ArcAngel" is the mother in one family who was resigned to let the many spirits in her house be, as long as they posed no threat. One entity, however, seemed determined to cause trouble.
