Ghastly Reading List

Hey guys. So I'm backlogged on my own reading list. I try to keep up with it; however...well, its difficult. So, I have decided, due to other projects going on, that I will reduce my reading list updates to a bi-monthly event, with the exception of the holidays, which will become weekly.

This week, an account of Ghost Hunters from Texas. A decent read...but it seems a little...well. It just seems like everyone is trying to come out with a unique niche for the Ghost Hunting thing (for the last several years really).

Lemme know what yall think.

GHastly Reading List

Well, my suggestion this week, is for you guys to go out and get a Kindle...or equivalent. Its 2012...and while the world may end in December, I strongly doubt that. So, I think its a great investment, and truth be told, its about damn time you guys switched from analog!

Nostalgia

Maybe, its due to the coming end of the world, but I'm feeling a little nostalgic! So, I thought I would bring back a little blast from my past...the movie that rocked the 80s in the mind of a 5 year old boy! GhostBusters!

Ghastly Reading List

This week; I'm still in that mystery novel I had quoted last week. So, I offer up an anthology of of local hauntings. I've used it to find a place to investigate before, and it likely has 10-20 sites in your state alone.

Also, as the Holidays approach, I want to wish you guys the best of them!

Ghastly Fiction

This week, I decided to change it up, just a tiny bit for you guys! Instead of my usual recommendation to read a book about Ghost Stories, I decided to recommend this book.

I will be honest, I picked this one up for the Kindle, thinking it would be a Ghost Story...and it certainly leans that way. However, I want to be clear, it is a mystery set in Ireland, with some seemingly paranormal elements. I haven't finished it yet, but the local flavor has got me interested...plus I'm part Irish. I think.

Check it out!

Ghostly Reading List Update

Hey guys! This week's book, is an account of a local haunting in Tennessee, known as the Bell Witch Haunting. This haunting was the basis for the movie 'An American Haunting' and even influenced 'The Blair Witch Project'.

My suggestion? Buy the book and 'An American Haunting', and compare the two.

Happy Veterans Day!

As a Veteran of Iraq, I want to wish all of my fellow service member's a safe and proud holiday! I've always thought it was poignant that our day of honor should be on Armistice Day, the day to mark the end of war. I hope you guys stay safe! And it is my fervent wish that the horrors of war be ended, as soon as humanly possible, wherever they exist.

In respect and love, here is today's ghostly book suggestion!

Ghostly Reading List Update

Hey guys, so I just finished reading last week's book. I have to admit, while it isn't so scary, it is well worth the read, if your interested in the phenomenon. Ghosts is chock full of stories, both anecdotal and well-documented, that span the width and breadth of the continent. Well worth it for any investigator.

However, if you are looking to get scared, take a look at this book. It did the trick for me.

Weekly Reading List

Hey folks! Thanks for checking out the site! I'm currently int he process of getting some awesome ghost stories for you all to read on the site, which I will try to schedule for posting the first Tuesday of every month. However, I've decided to post, every week, what sort of things I'm reading.

Don't expect this list to change so often, as it sometimes takes me quite a while to read a book.

Currently Reading: Ghosts. A great book, its huge, like 500+ pages, and really cheap. The stories are not so scary, but rather interesting, because the author claims them to be true.
