 | To my way of thinking, it's hard to dismiss eyewitness reports of something that has been occurring for over 2,000 years. 2,000-Year-Old Ghost Reports
Ghosts and hauntings are a part of the human experience, having been seen, experienced, discussed, and written about over thousands of years. Some striking examples come to us from a Roman lawyer named Pliny the Younger, who lived from 61 to 113 A.D. He writes about ghost encounters that compel him to believe in their existence. His descriptions of the phenomena are very like the haunting and poltergeist reports we hear today. Here is Pliny the Younger's fascinating letter.

"I have a home that was built around 1886," says Debra, "and there have been hundreds of experiences from apparitions visiting, voices caught on my DVR giving answers to questions, shadows seen, and things moving. I was taking photos one night of my kitchen to enter a sweepstakes for a free remodeling and thought I would take random pictures. In this one I caught a picture of a man.
