From Stephen Wagner, your Guide to Paranormal
Wow - Lots of stuff going on as we count down to our favorite holiday: Halloween. We have lots of new and chilling Ouija board stories, an addition to our "World's Most Haunted Places" gallery, a new ghost photograph for your analysis, a new video episode of CNY Spirits, and the announcement of our second annual Halloween Costume Contest. More to come!

Tales of the Ouija
What would our Halloween countdown be without some scary Ouija board stories? Well, we have 'em -- an all-new batch of Ouija tales of paranormal activity, predictions and frights that might make you think twice about using the spirit board. And if that weren't enough, see the last page of the article for a special bonus!

New Ghost Photo: Graignes Ghost Soldier
"While touring the Normandy beaches in the fall of 2008," Tim says, "my wife and I visited the cemetery and ruins of the cathedral in Graignes. I took a single photo of a marble plaque commemorating the massacre of American paratroopers and French citizens by German forces in 1944. Reflected in the black marble, over my right shoulder, is the grainy figure of a soldier. Interestingly, the soldier is in black and white and the photo is in colour. No one was in the cemetery but us at the time." See the picture in the Gallery.

Halloween Costume Contest
Our countdown to Halloween 2010 continues with our second annual costume contest. You have a chance to win some cool prizes by sending in a photo of yourself, friend or family member in a Halloween costume with a paranormal theme. Get the details.

CNY Spirits at a Central New York cemetery
In this episode of CNY Spirits, Central New York Ghost Hunters and Paranormal Research's founder Stacey Jones ventures into a haunted cemetery with just a camera crew. Stacey says that the group has recorded EVP there virtually every time they have gone there, and this time is no exception. After hearing some interesting responses to questions from the ghost box, Stacey talks about the history and theories of EVP, then sees if she can get anything on her voice recorder. The voice she gets is chilling. Read more and watch the episode.
