From Stephen Wagner, your Guide to Paranormal
Good ghost video is hard to come by... I mean REALLY hard to come by. There are a lot of hoaxes out there, especially on YouTube (some of them kind of clever), so you have to be careful. See this week's feature for videos I find interesting. Also this week we have a photo of the Lake Windermere Monster, which surfaced recently, a reader question about a ghost pet, and of course the week's paranormal news.

Best Ghost Videos Ever Taken
They might be real, anyway. Although we can never know for sure, these videos are some of the best examples of that rarest of all haunting evidence: ghosts caught on tape, from Gettysburg to Disneyland. And if you have ghost video, send it to me!

Photo: Lake Windermere Monster
While kayaking on Lake Windermere in England on February 11, 2011, Tom Pickles and a friend were startled by a creature swimming by. At first Pickles thought it was a dog but then realized how big is was. He estimated the humped creature to be at least the size of three car lengths. The friends saw the unknown animal for about 20 seconds, and Pickles managed to capture this photo with his cell phone. This encounter is the eighth recorded sighting of the creature, which has been dubbed Bownessie, in Lake Windermere.

Q&A: Was it my dog's ghost?
"On December 14, 2010, I had to put Tucker, my beloved golden retriever, to sleep," writes Peter F. "He was a wonderful creature, and I miss him profoundly. I was not ready to throw out his personal items, so I put his large stainless-steel bowl in the back of the pantry behind the sack of dog food. Six weeks after his death, I fixed my dinner and ate it in the living room. I live alone, and there was no one else with me. An hour later, I returned to the kitchen. There in the middle of the kitchen floor was Tucker's bowl! Did Tucker do this himself? Or was it a spirit telling me that he was alright?" Read my answer.
