 | There was a longer than usual wait for this month's edition of Your True Tales, and I apologize for that -- I know many of you look forward to reading them right at the beginning of each month. However, I was in Philadelphia visiting one of the world's most haunted places: Eastern State Penitentiary. I didn't encounter any ghosts (drat!), but it certainly does have a creepy vibe, and many people have seen and recorded phenomena there. I took a lot of photos, however, and I'll share those if you're interested. And speaking of photos... look! - it's contest time! | Most Haunted Places: Gettysburg Battlefield
The latest addition to our gallery of the world's most haunted places: Gettysburg Battlefield. Few would argue that Gettysburg Battlefield is one of the most haunted places in the U.S. As the site of one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War, nearly 8,000 Union and Confederate soldiers were killed and tens of thousands more were injured there on July 3, 1863. There have been numerous sightings of ghost soldiers, sounds of battle, recorded EVP and even video.
| Video: Ukrainian Bigfoot
This is a brief video that alleges to show a Bigfoot walking through a forest somewhere in the Ukraine. The annotation in YouTube, translated from Russian, merely says, "Do not even know who or what it was..." This video has the usual problems: it's too blurry, of insufficient resolution, and the creature is too far away. So is this a hoax, an interesting possibility or a genuine Bigfoot?
