 | I watched a pretty good haunted house movie the other day -- Insidious -- and it reminded me that I recently asked readers to tell me about the movies that scared them the most. You'll find that list below. Thanksgiving is Thursday (already!) and I've gathered a collection of paranormal stories that take place on or around that holiday. Scariest Movies - Readers' Choices
Recently, readers were asked their to cast their votes for the scariest movies of all time. These are the movies that kept them awake at night, caused them to fear the dark, haunted their dreams, and generally just scared them out of their wits. Check out this list and see if you agree. | Quantum Levitation
This is not paranormal, but it is incredible. And if we didn't know there is real science behind it, we would think it is paranormal -- or magic. This video from the Association of Science-Technology Centers demonstrates an example of "quantum locking" -- the disc is locked in a magnetic field, but can be moved and appears to hover or even hang with relationship to the magnet. Amazing! We can imagine all kinds of future technologies arising out of this phenomenon, including, perhaps, new propulsion systems.
